three new ones

i just realized i have a few tree paintings that i did over the summer. maybe you like the look of these? did you have anything specific in mind for color? we could make a really bright tree with a bunch of colors and black birds or sort of muted but still quite nice greens for the tree with bright birds in varying colors. due to a lack of materials, the background/sky will probably be a neutral off white color as opposed to a traditional blue, somewhat similar to cory's room. which reminds me, i need to ask if she;s still got that paint...

prelim/ THE sketches (there is no #5)

here are some ideas for trees. i'm contemplating putting up the drawings before i added color, distracts from image + some of them look shitty with the colors i threw in.

weird how #6 looks like cory's drawing of the faces for your album- completely coincidental. also the background neednt be black in real life, just easier for photoshop's sake. the shapes in that one could be anything- birds, some other animal, leaves, beer bottles. might be cool instead of just those shapes.

for the ones without birds- just imagine birds in them. or not even- maybe we dont need 'em. we could figure out something else for that top register.

if this is overwhelming and you'd be fine with any of them- i like #3 the most- with a bunch of different colors, i made it all red out of laziness.
